Recognising a problem is the first step to finding a solution. Sometimes solutions are not things we find ourselves but things the Spirits guide us to and sometimes we can not take up the challenges that are given to us without the support of others.

The first time Doe came to me, she was antlered. I was confused and amazed and honored. I’m quite astounded that this has come up at this particular point in my life as I begin nutting out my own way down my pseudo-shamanic path. Your tattoo is simply gorgeous! I think it is a stunning symbol and beautiful way to honor her as your ally.

Thanks Akhila! I had become so focused on trying to make my animal portraits realistic, that I began to feel ‘uncreative’. This piece is my first attempt at cutting loose, and focusing on the feeling of being animal.
